The Philippine Army’s 128th Founding Anniversary set the stage for an electrifying showdown at the TRON 2025 Cyber Defense Exercise, held March 8–9 at Fort Bonifacio’s Ricarte Hall. AMA University (AMAU) made history as its first-ever cybersecurity team leapt into the fray—and emerged as a dark horse contender.

Day 1 kicked off with a bang as the team clinched the Early Bird Award and surged into 1st place by midday, energizing the event with their underdog momentum.

AMA University Institute of Professional Studies has successfully concluded the first batch of its Ethical Hacking and Offensive Security training program. Held at the AMA University campus, the batch—named KALASAG—marked a major milestone as the university strengthens its footprint in advanced cybersecurity education.

Students from across the Philippines recently gathered for the inaugural AMA Brains Olympiad National Finals — a landmark celebration of intellect, grit, and academic excellence.

Starting with 275 participating schools, the competition narrowed down to 11 outstanding finalists. These schools, hailing from various regions and backgrounds, advanced to the National Finals held at the Luxent Hotel on February 29, 2024.
