One of AMA’s longstanding civic partnerships is with the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV), a nonpartisan organization dedicated to Clean, Honest, Accurate, Meaningful, and Peaceful elections.
AMA’s partnership with PPCRV has evolved over the years. In 2016, AMA Education System served as PPCRV’s official IT partner, providing IT equipment and technical manpower for the elections. The partnership continued through succeeding elections, with AMA and AMA Online Education providing computers, technical assistance, volunteers, and online training support.
In 2025, AMA Education System and PPCRV renewed their partnership through a Memorandum of Agreement focused on the role of technology and education in supporting the electoral process. AMA Online also partnered with PPCRV to integrate the Tibok Pinoy values formation program into its online education system and curriculum nationwide.
In September 2026, AMA Education System took on an expanded role as the home of the PPCRV Command Center for the first regular Parliamentary Elections in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).
The command center was established at the AMA School of Medicine Annex Building in Makati City. From this facility, PPCRV volunteers and its technology partners supported the organization’s unofficial parallel count and independent verification of election results.
This milestone represents more than a technology partnership. It demonstrates how AMA’s expertise in education, information technology, digital learning, and infrastructure can be placed in the service of the broader community.

Batangas Province – October 6, 2025 — AMA Computer College (AMACC) East Rizal proudly bagged 1st Runner-Up at the HackForGov 2025 Regional Qualifying Round in CALABARZON, held on October 6, 2025, at Batangas Province from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
The HackForGov Cybersecurity Competition is a Capture-The-Flag (CTF) style contest organized by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) through its Cybersecurity Bureau, National Computer Emergency Response Team (NCERT), and CERT-PH. Designed to strengthen the country's cybersecurity capacity, the event brings together the most promising student teams to solve real-world digital defense challenges.
Following a careful deliberation and screening process conducted by DICT-CERT, AMACC East Rizal's "Team AMAzing" was officially chosen to represent the school in the CALABARZON Kick-Off competition. Out of 12 competing teams, AMACC East Rizal emerged as one of the top performers, securing the 2nd overall ranking.

The Philippine Army’s 128th Founding Anniversary set the stage for an electrifying showdown at the TRON 2025 Cyber Defense Exercise, held March 8–9 at Fort Bonifacio’s Ricarte Hall. AMA University (AMAU) made history as its first-ever cybersecurity team leapt into the fray—and emerged as a dark horse contender.
Day 1 kicked off with a bang as the team clinched the Early Bird Award and surged into 1st place by midday, energizing the event with their underdog momentum.
Day 2 brought edge-of-the-seat excitement with leaderboard changes happening in real time. Consistent performance and team coordination propelled AMAU to finish 5th overall, outranking veteran universities.

AMA University Institute of Professional Studies has successfully concluded the first batch of its Ethical Hacking and Offensive Security training program. Held at the AMA University campus, the batch—named KALASAG—marked a major milestone as the university strengthens its footprint in advanced cybersecurity education.
